Building New NY Blood Center And Helping To Rebuild The Blood Supply
The New York Blood Center and Consigli Construction hosted a blood drive at the site of the new Rye campus to benefit the local community.

RYE, NY — The workers at the future, state-of-the-art campus are helping to change our lives for the better and this week, they made an even more direct impact.
New York Blood Center Enterprises and Consigli Construction hosted a blood drive at the site of the New York Blood Center’s (NYBC) future campus in Rye, at the former Avon world headquarters. The blood drive was organized as part of Consigli’s commitment to support the communities in which they build, live and work.
Participants, including members of the Consigli project team and subcontractors, came together to donate blood and support the life-saving public health work done by NYBC and its efforts to ensure there are sufficient blood supplies for patients in need.

"Yesterday's blood drive was a success and we're grateful for Consigli Construction Co., Inc.'s support," the New York Blood Center's Andrea Cefarelli explained. "Not only is Consigli helping us replenish the blood supply, they are working with us to build a new campus that will enable life-saving research, blood processing, and cell therapy manufacturing, fulfilling our mission to provide healthcare worldwide."
The new, multipurpose New York Blood Center Enterprises campus in Rye broke ground in June 2023, and when complete, will be the future home to the New York Blood Center's tri-state operations, including space for life sciences research, blood collections, a distribution warehouse, processing and cell therapy manufacturing. It will also house the organization’s world-renowned Research Institute and research laboratories. The 187,000 sq. ft. location will serve as the first-ever single campus for New York Blood Center Enterprises.
