Art of the Stomp Box is a premium hardcover coffee-table book by Chris Cassone, a Port Chester native, lifelong guitarist, photographer, author, and former recording engineer. The book presents guitar effects pedals not just as music gear, but as collectible visual art: hand-painted boxes, psychedelic illustration, typography, industrial design, folk imagery, science fiction, pop surrealism, and boutique maker culture. Featuring more than 300 full-color photographs from 60 pedal designers across 18 countries, Art of the Stomp Box gives these small, colorful objects the museum-wall treatment they deserve. The book includes a foreword by Josh Scott of JHS Pedals and a cover testimonial from the late Ace Frehley of KISS.
