Carver Center Appoints Port Chester Resident and Columbia Grad as New Chief Development Officer

Port Chester native Britani Griffin Joins Carver Center team

Carver Center is thrilled to announce the appointment of Britani Griffin as Chief Development Officer. In this role the Port Chester native will lead the organization’s fundraising efforts by focusing on building and maintaining relationships in support of all of Carver’s program areas.

Britani comes to Carver with six years fundraising experience, having spent the past four years in Columbia University’s Office of Alumni and Development. At Columbia, she managed the University’s recognition societies and supported faculty research initiatives by identifying, researching, and stewarding foundations and corporate funders. A believer in the transformative power of education and enrichment opportunities, Britani is excited about her “second Carver journey”, she worked in Carver’s Development Office from 2010-2012. “I’m thrilled to rejoin the Carver family and collaborate with the team on innovative fundraising efforts to support our vast program offerings.”

Joseph Kwasniewski, Chief Executive Office for Carver Center said “Britani’s wealth of experience and knowledge has already made her a key addition to the Carver team. We view her appointment as a sign of our commitment to taking the Carver organization to the next level.”
