Winter parking regulations go into effect on November 1st.

Overnight parking restrictions allow our Department of Public Works to clear the streets, particularly during snow events.

Police will be issuing violations in order to ensure public safety and provide Emergency vehicles access.

No parking shall be permitted on any public street in the City of Rye between 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. For exceptions, please view our City Code parking laws online.

If you live within the central business district and do not have access to off-street parking, you may be eligible for an All Day/All Night parking permit. Please visit our City website or City App for more information.

As we enter the winter season, please clear your sidewalk of snow and ice within 24 hours of a snow event.

It is important to provide safe routes for walkers, particularly families and children on the way to and from school.
