RYE, NY — Coast Guard officials are hoping that there is a simple explanation for a troubling mystery that has come to light in the water of the Long Island Sound.
The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking information about the owner of an unmanned paddle board discovered off the coast of Rye. It was discovered in the water near the Westchester Country Club around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
