Concert for Carver - A Rockin Success
2nd Annual Concert for Carver helped raise funds for Port Chester Carver Center
400 guests partied the night away on March 5th at The Capitol Theatre with The Carver Center. Chairing the annual Concert for Carver event were Rye residents Mandy Brooks and Maureen Gomez and Harrison residents Jennifer Amantea and Clare Butler. The event raised $325,000 to support much-needed programs such as Carver’s food pantry, after school programs, and the only public swimming pool in the community. The highlight of the night was Joshua Tree – A U2 Tribute Band who wowed the crowd with amazing covers of U2 hits such as: Where the Streets Have No Name, Desire, With or Without You and Beautiful Day.
