Death of 20-Year-Old Rye Man in NYC Still Under Investigation

He was a 2014 graduate of Rye High School.

RYE, NY — The cause of death of a 20-year-old Rye man in Manhattan has not been released by authorities.

The body of Jack Usry was found outside an apartment building around 10 a.m. Friday on East 34th Street, the Journal News said.

According to Usry’s obituary on the Graham Funeral Home website, Usry was a 2014 graduate of Rye High School and was working on a bachelor of fine arts degree in photography at the Lamar Dodd School of Art at the University of Georgia.

Visitation is set for Tuesday, Nov. 8 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Graham Funeral Home, 1036 Boston Post Rd. in Rye.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Resurrection in Rye at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9.
