Korean Spirit and Culture at the Rye Library

Rye Free Reading Room will host a Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project. The cultural event will include the screening of two documentary films, The Hidden Treasures of Korean Art and Modern Korea, followed by a tasting of traditional Korean refreshments.

From Rye Free Reading Room:

"The first film illustrates the artistic and cultural achievements of Korea’s past, and the second takes a look at Korea’s industrial achievements since the Korean War.

Korean Spirit & Culture Promotion Project is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to raising awareness of Korean history and culture in appreciation for the United State’s support for Korea during the Korean War and in the years since.

To ensure that there are tasting treats for all who attend, the library requests that you register in advance at 231-3161.  This program was rescheduled from its original January date due to a snow storm."
