Mah Jongg Instruction

Mah Jongg instruction with instructor Regina Klenosky is held every Wednesday from 2-3 p.m. in the Rye Free Reading Room.

"Become an expert Mah Jongg player! Have fun. Make Friends. Learn the basics: how to play, passing the tiles, indispensable strategies, and invaluable betting tactics. Master the game of the Ancients—and make it your game!

Class size is limited. Please call 231-3161 to register. Open to anyone who did not participate in the summer session. Sign-ups begin September 1.

Regina Klenosky has been playing and teaching Mah Jongg for over 35 years and instructs both individuals and groups at all levels. She says, “Teaching Mah Jongg has lead to many new friendships. In fact, I have even taught my daughter, spending time together is always fun.  Knowing I have brought enjoyment to others has been very satisfying. My group of Mah Jongg players and I recently attended a Mah Jongg exhibit at a museum, there was a Mah Jongg set available and my friends and I just sat down and started playing.  So no matter where you go, you can always play Mah Jongg.”
