Class Acts: Teachers Get Free Admission To Playland In Rye
Apples are nice, but nothing says "we love our teachers" like free rides on the Playland Park Dragon Coaster for Teachers Appreciation Day.

RYE, NY — Teachers of all grades are eligible for free Playland Park admission on Sunday.
As the school year gets into swing, Playland is saying thanks to teachers by hosting a "Teachers Appreciation Day" on Sept. 18. For one day only, teachers of all grade levels will receive free admission to the park with valid school identification.
For students across the region, this could be the perfect opportunity to see your teacher in a different light. Mrs. Rimby looks a lot less intimidating with a candy apple in her hand and Mr. Costin doesn't seem quite so serious at the top of the log flume. Weekdays are for learning, while the weekends are for cutting loose.

Sorry, kids — while this Sunday's "field day" will be fun and games, rather than lessons and pop quizzes, the class still pays full admission. This deal is just for your teachers.
