Heavy Rains and Severe Winds Expected in Rye
There is a 100 percent chance of precipitation.

A flood warning has been issued for Rye implying that flooding is occurring or is imminent. The warning is in effect until 6 p.m.
Several hazardous weather conditions have been issued for Rye, according to the National Weather Service.
A wind advisory has been issued until 7 p.m. Winds speeds between 24 to 26 mph and gusts of up to 40 mph are expected late afternoon into the evening.The NWS has also stated that a flood watch remains in effect until later tonight with rain between a tenth and a quarter of an inch.

A flood advisory is in effect today till 1:15 p.m. and a coastal flood warning is in effect until 2 p.m.
Residents are advised to take precautions while driving and not drive into areas where water is covering the roadway. Strong winds can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
