CITY OF RYE, NY — The City of Rye Police Department says that a Connecticut woman was arrested after stealing from her employer's home in Rye.
After an investigation by Rye detectives, 30-year old Joise Cabral-Rosa of Bethel, Connecticut was arrested on Thursday.
Police say that on March 12, a report was filed about a missing ring that was a family heirloom passed down from one generation to the next. The resident told police that after returning from work on February 2, she saw a drawer in her bedroom closet had been rummaged through and jewelry was missing. She said that the only people with access to the home were from her cleaning company.
