Learn to Drive in a BMW, Give to Rye Fund for Education
The teen driving school and fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 17-18. Adults can participate, too.
The Rye Fund for Education will host a fundraiser with BMW’s Teen Driving School at Rye Playland on Oct. 17-18.
Cost of the event is a tax deductible donation of $250 to the fund, which can be made at www.ryefundforeducation.org.
Using BMW vehicles, professional BMW driving instructors will provide one-on-one lessons to participants, concentrating on “real life driving applications with a special focus on distracted driving and accident avoidance.” Students will be behind-the-wheel to learn about maneuvering, braking, and skid control to give the new drivers more confidence on the road.
