Learn English as a 2nd Language at the Port Chester-Rye Brook Library

Here’s a way for people trying to improve their English to begin the process of learning and actively practicing basic vocabulary, grammar, speaking and listening skills necessary for daily living, employment and post-secondary education.

Classes, either in the morning, Wednesdays and Fridays, or all-day Saturday, will be held this fall at the Port Chester-Rye Brook Public Library. The course is free but there is a cost for the course textbook: $38. That can be paid with or check on the first day of class.

Register at one of these sessions at the library at 1 Haseco Ave.:

1. Aug. 26 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm

2. Aug. 29 from 9:30 am to 11:45am

At registration, everyone is interviewed and evaluated to determine his/her best level.
