Look: Mamaroneck, Port Chester, Rye and Rye Brook School Calendars for 2015-16

Summer’s winding down, and the first day of school is just around the corner. Below are links to the school calendars for the Mamaroneck, Port Chester, Blind Brook (Rye Brook) and Rye City school districts.

Mamaroneck begins school on Sept. 1; Blind Brook and Port Chester on Sept. 2; and Rye City on Sept. 8.

Other important dates include:

Rosh Hashanah is Sept. 14, 15, and Yom Kippur is Sept. 23. Schools will be closed in all the districts on all three days.

Holiday recess for the Port Chester, Blind Brook and Rye City districts will be Dec. 24-31; Mamaroneck’s will be Dec. 23-31.

Mid-winter recess for all the districts will be Feb. 15-19.

Rye City’s and Port Chester’s spring recesses are March 21-25; Blind Brook’s is March 25-28 and April 22-25; and Mamaroneck’s is March 21-15 and April 22, 25.

The last day of school for Rye City is June 23; for the other districts it is June 24.

Snow days or unexpected closings could potentially alter some of these dates.
