On Wednesday, September 20, the Jay Heritage Center will be hosting the Lower hudson PRISM Symposium for invasive species tracking. Located on Boston Post Road, the Jay Heritage Center is easily accessible and attendees will be given the chance to listen to leading contributors in the field of non-indigenous species. The Jay Heritage Center has hosted numerous invasive species workshops in the past.
The Lower Hudson Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management (PRISM), is hosted by the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference and funded through the New York State Environmental Protection Fund. With an organization mission “to protect biodiversity and ecosystem services through a collaborative and integrated approach to invasive species management,” PRISM hosts events and makes recommendations to local policymakers for the management of invasive species.
