Maryland Man Leads Police On Chase, ICE Makes Detainer Request

RYE, NY — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has issued a request for a Maryland man to be detained after he led police on a chase Friday from Westchester County to the Bronx.

Anthony Haripersaud, 36, allegedly went through traffic lights and stop signs on Boston Post Road and eventually crashed into a police car and tried to flee the scene, lohud.com said.

He is scheduled to appear in Rye City Court April 4.
