Friends of Rye Town Park has announced that, due to storms the evening of July 14, screening of "The Goonies" has been rescheduled for July 21.
Director Steven Spielberg brought the film to the big screen in 1985 and it has been entertaining children of all ages ever since.
The plot surrounds a group of children set out on an adventure in search of pirate treasure that could save their homes from foreclosure. It stars Sean Astin, Josh Brolin and Jeff Cohen.

So, bring your chair or blanket, a picnic supper (if desired) and enjoy an evening's entertainment under the stars on the great lawn at Rye Town Park.
Balloon magician, Scott Kazan, will be on hand around 7:30 to thrill the younger set with his creations.

Parking after 4:00 is $4.00 for permit holders, $5.00 without. The movie is free.
