Opinion: Tonight's Playland Meeting's Curious Conduits
Catherine Parker's late and selective public notice needlessly disenfranchises her constituents.

Why would you suppress a short notice important public meeting press release? Well that might be a question for tonight at a session likely to have less than robust turnout by the public at Rye Library. Or perhaps the turnout will be selective, by design.
It seems that at every twist without questioning and alerts from park process transparency advocates the general public was going to be disenfranchised. Here’s what I know about the sequence of local notice for tonight’s important Playland Park presentation by Central Amusements Inc. -

Deirdre Curran – via grapevine – Tues Oct 14th – early afternoon - based on grapevine reports Ms. Curran calls the Rye Library which confirms to her that Catherine Parker has booked space from 7-9pm on Monday for a Playland Presentation.
