The Osborn Hosts Walk to End Alzheimer's

Event was sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association-Westchester/Putnam Chapter and The Osborn.

On Friday, Sept. 30, The Osborn hosted a Walk to End Alzheimer’s disease at its senior living community campus in Rye. This event was sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association-Westchester/Putnam Chapter and The Osborn. It was attended by more than 100 employees, residents and families of residents in The Osborn’s HOPE Center for Memory Care. The goal was to both raise awareness and demonstrate a show of support for seniors by staff and other seniors. It also was held in recognition of October 2022, Alzheimer’s Awareness Month.

Pictured in the photos attached are the large group of walkers as well as participants planting flowers of support for those currently battling Alzheimer’s and remembrance of loved ones lost to the disease.
