Parking Rule Changes To City Hall Lot And Library Lane In Rye

The changes are intended to allow visitors to have quick and convenient access to City Hall and the library.

City Hall lots and Library Lane

Due to increased parking demands and limited visitor parking, the parking lot located behind City Hall will now have a maximum parking time of one hour, effective Monday, May 1, 2023.
This change is being implemented to ensure that there is ample parking space available for all visitors to City Hall and the Library.

Please note that this change will not affect designated employee parking, which will continue to be permitted in the center of the parking lot behind City Hall and adjacent to the building for the duration of the workday.

In addition, the road leading to City Hall (Library Lane) will now allow parking for a maximum of 15 minutes only. This will allow visitors to have quick and convenient access to City Hall and the Library.
