Playland Park Job Fair Planned As A Special Summer Season Nears

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Playland is planning a magical summer on the seaside, and you're invited to be a part of the excitement.

Playland Park is hosting a job fair for its 2026 summer season on Saturday, March 14, at the Westchester County Center in White Plains. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Available positions include roles in park management (operations), ride operators, ride attendants, lifeguards, cashiers, custodial, and painters.

"Working at Playland Park is a rite of passage for many who grew up in Westchester County," Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins said. "I encourage those who want to be part of that tradition to attend the Job Fair to learn about and apply to the wide variety of positions available."

Attendees are encouraged to apply online for their desired position before the job fair. The first 150 online applicants who submit their application by Wednesday, March 11, at noon, will be guaranteed an interview at the event. Selected applicants will receive advance notification.

"The Playland Job Fair offers individuals interested in working at the park a convenient, one-stop opportunity to learn about available positions and apply and interview all in one day," Westchester County Parks Commissioner, Kathy O'Connor said "It’s a great way to secure a summer job ahead of the season."

Applicants should bring their Social Security card and a valid photo ID. Those aged 16 and 17 who plan to complete their application at the fair must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and bring working papers. Those wishing to enroll in Westchester County Payroll Direct Deposit should bring a blank voided check or a bank-issued Direct Deposit Set Up Form containing their routing and account numbers.

Salary ranges from $17.10 to $20 per hour. Free parking will be available for attendees at the Westchester County Center, located at 198 Central Avenue in White Plains. Another Playland Job Fair is also planned for Saturday, April 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
