Port Chester Man Charged with DWI after Rye Rollover

At about 4:06 a.m. July 25 , State Police responded to the report of a roll over accident of a BMW on I-95.

When troopers arrived on scene, they observed the sole occupant and driver of the vehicle, Clemente Najera, 22 of Port Chester, NY, exit his vehicle with some blood on his left arm.

During their investigation, they found indications that Najera was intoxicated. He was transported by Port Chester Ambulance to Westchester Medical Center to have his arm and overall wellness evaluated. He submitted to a blood draw to determine the alcohol content in his blood.

Najera was charged with:

• Driving While Intoxicated, Unclassified Misdemeanor

Najera was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Rye city court on Aug. 4 and turned over to the care of the doctors at Westchester Medical Center, police said.
