Children of the Ganges (http://www.childrenoftheganges.)is a non-profit organization registered under the Indian Societies Registration Act 1860 with its main aim to provide FREE education for children regardless of religion, caste, gender, or social status and to promote the qualities of kindness, compassion, ethical behavior and a sense of universal responsibility.

The school was started by Westchester resident Truike Boekholt ( originally from the Netherlands)

She traveled to India for Yoga Teacher Training and ended up starting a school.
