Registration Open for Rye Recreation Programs for Kids

Rye residents and non-residents can sign up for wrestling, golf camp or soccer.

Registration is now open for the Rye Recreation Department’s winter programs for Rye residents. For non-residents, registration will open on Dec. 15.

Students from grade one to grade eight can register for wrestling. Wrestling will take place on Wednesday nights in the Rye Country Day Athletic Center from Jan. 7 to March 4.

The cost to register is $150 for Rye residents and Rye Country Day School students. For non-residents and non-students the cost is $175.

Kindergarten through grade five students can register for the December Break Golf Camp. The camp will take place on Dec. 29 and Dec. 30 at the Osborn School from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The registration cost is $125 for residents and $150 for non-resident.

Finally, indoor soccer is open for grades kindergarten to grade two. Indoor soccer will be held from Jan. 10 to Feb. 14 at the Osborn School Gym. The slots for kindergarten session are from 10 to 10:45 a.m. or from 11 to 11:45 a.m. For first and second graders, the sessions will take place from 12 a.m. to 1 p.m. or from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m.

The registration fees for kindergarten students are $110 for residents and $135 for non-residents. For first and second graders, the registration fees is $130 for residents and $155 for non-residents.
