Rye, Blind Brook School Budget Results

Voters turned out Tuesday to decide on the budgets.

RYE, NY — Voters in the Rye City School District went to the polls Tuesday to decide whether to pass the budget for the 2018-19 school year. The $89.2 million spending package was approved 952 to 227, according to unofficial results.

The budget was 2.67 percent above the current year. The tax levy increase is 3.16 percent.

Chris Repetto, Callie Erickson and Kelly Smith Powers were elected to the school board.

Voters in the Blind Brook-Rye Central School District approved their $45.2 million spending package 248 to 53, according to unofficial results.

The budget was 2.91 percent above the current year. The tax levy increase is 2.63 percent.
