Rye Board of Ed Seeks Curriculum Committee Members
The board is currently seeking two community members to serve on the committee for the 2015-16 school year.

The Rye City School District Board of Education is seeking new members to serve on its Curriculum Council, which was formed to help with the development and review of new course proposals, as well as reviewing the need for curricular revisions.
Additionally, the Curriculum Committee also serves as a forum to discuss and provide feedback regarding educational matters. The council is comprised of administrators, faculty, students, parents, community members and members of the Board of Education.
The board is currently seeking two community members to serve on the committee for the 2015-16 school year, and is currently scheduled to meet four times next year:

The district’s working committees offer thoughtful and critical recommendations for the effective and efficient operation of the schools, according to officials. The committees focus on specific, annual charges and report progress at Board of Education meetings periodically throughout the year.

The deadline for applications is July 30, 2015.
