Beginning Monday August 25th through Friday August 29th, the New York State Department of Transportation will be repaving Westchester Avenue west of Ridge Street.

Westchester Avenue will be paved in its full width from a point beginning at the Harrison border and continuing to the intersection of South Ridge Street. As this is a major traffic artery and a complete repaving of the entire width of the road, commuters and residents are encouraged to utilize alternate routes. Road work will commence at approximately 7:30 AM and end around 5:30 PM. During this time, multiple lanes may be closed and traffic may be periodically halted as equipment is mobilized.
