Rye Brook Police Issue Tips for Dealing with Impending Snow
One tip is that sidewalks need to be cleared of snow within 24 hours after the storm ends.

With hazardous winter weather forecasted for this weekend, please remember the following:
- Do not plow or throw snow into the street, even if it is still snowing and the snow plows are still out. Snow disposed of into the street creates an unsafe condition for motorists and pedestrians.
- Remember that unless otherwise posted, there is NO parking between 2:00 am and 6:00 am on any street in Rye Brook.
- Please have sidewalks cleared of snow within 24 hours after the storm is over.
- Be mindful during the storm of road construction and road plates on Fairlawn Parkway.
The National Weather Service in addition to heavy snow, is calling for winds 10 - 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph, please make sure that any objects outside are secured and will not be blown about due to the wind.
