Rye Brook Police Looking For Serial Vandals

Schools & office facilities have been hit by vandals in three incidents recently. Investigators believe all three crimes are connected.

RYE BROOK, NY — Investigators are asking the public for help tracking down the vandals responsible for destroying school and private property in three separate incidents between Jan. 20 and Jan. 25.

Two of the vandalism incidents involved the Blind Brook School District bus garage, according to police. Fire extinguishers were discharged inside of school buses causing damage. Seats in the buses also appear to have been intentionally destroyed.

Windows were broken in a third incident at the 900 King Street office complex.

Police said they believe all three crimes were the work of the same vandals.
