Rye City Residents Can Buy Highland/Cedar Commuter Permits Nov. 20
A total of 33 parking permits will be available online beginning Nov. 20 to City of Rye residents only.

The following announcement about commuter parking permits for the Highland/Cedar lots is from the Rye City Clerk’s Office:
The City Clerk’s Office announces that beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, November 20, 2015, 33 Commuter Parking Permits for the Highland/Cedar lots will be available online to CITY OF RYE RESIDENTS ONLY. To be considered a Rye resident you must currently reside in the City of Rye -- NOT the Village of Rye Brook, Town of Rye or the part of the Town of Harrison with a 10580 zip code. The cost of the permit is $760. Payment is by credit card only (MasterCard, Visa or Discover). American Express cards or Transit Debit Cards will not be accepted. The online program will be shut down when the 33 permits have been sold. The application will not be accessible until November 20, 2015.

- go to the City website (www.ryeny.gov)
- under the City news section look for the large white P in the blue square and click on the link for 2016 Highland/Cedar Commuter Permit Open Offer and follow the prompts
- click on the link for Proceed to Highland Cedar Open Signup Application
- complete the application, provide credit card information and submit
It is recommended that you have the registration for your vehicle with you when applying because you will need the following vehicle information in order to complete the application:
- Vehicle License Plate Number
- Vehicle make
- Vehicle color
- Vehicle year
- Owner’s name
- Owner’s Address
