Rye City School District Ranks No. 2 in New Study

A new report ranks the top school districts in New York and we let you know how yours performed.

We’re not even in 2016 yet but Niche.com has ammassed its top 100 school districts in New York list.

The results are based on a variety of metrics, including test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, teacher quality, reviews by students and staff, SAT scores and much more.

Specific grades were assigned to such categories as: academics, extracurricular, resources and facilities, teachers, and even food.

Rye City School District - #2

The website writes:

“Rye City School District is centered in Rye, New York. It has 3,303 students attending 5 schools in grades K-12. According to state standards, 72% of students in this district are considered proficient in math and/or reading. The district has an annual budget of $71,021,000, spending an average of $21,974 per student. There have been 42 reviews written and they have been very positive.”
