Rye High School is rated the 11th best in New York, according to the latest ranking from U.S. News and World Report.

The school’s top 12 rating earned a Gold award from the publication, which also noted that the AP participation rate is 88 percent at the school. Rye’s national rank is 81st, and its STEM rank is 136th.

Total enrollment for the school is 886 and there is a 14:1 student-to-teacher ratio.

Based on test scores 98 percent of students are proficient in English and 97 percent are proficient in mathematics.
