Rye Resident Timothy Clark Named to Osborn's Board of Trustees

Timothy Clark has been named to The Osborn's 13-member Board of Trustees of a Rye-based retirement community.

Timothy Clark has been named to The Osborn’s 13-member Board of Trustees, the group that oversees the strategic planning and management initiatives of the Rye-based retirement community and its business units—Sterling Park Independent Living, Assisted Living, the H.O.P.E. Center for Memory Care, Osborn Home Care, and The Pavilion, its short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility.

Mr. Clark, a Rye resident, owns and manages a group of companies that operate in the technology, transportation and business services sectors. He has an extensive background in corporate finance, having worked at Bear Stearns Merchant Banking from 1999-2004 and, earlier, with JLL Partners, a private equity firm based in New York. He began his career in 1988 with The Blackstone Group.

Mr. Clark resides in Rye with his wife, Dr. Kim Griffin; he has three children. Active in civic affairs, Mr. Clark has served as the President of the Board of Directors of the Rye YMCA, which presented him with its highest award, the Gold Spirit Award in 2012. He is also a former President of the Board of Directors of the Greater New York Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

A graduate of Bucknell University and the Harvard University Graduate School of Business, Mr. Clark has served as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at State University of New York at Cortland and at Bucknell University, where he currently serves on an alumni board focused on entrepreneurship. “Tim is a welcome addition to The Osborn’s Board of Trustees. He brings a unique mix of entrepreneurial success with a focus on service to society and our community,” noted Jack Miller, Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

Established in 1908, The Osborn is a continuum of care community for seniors, offering a wide range of programs including independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing support, home care services, short-term rehabilitation assistance, and dementia care through the H.O.P.E. Center. More than 400 residents currently reside on the 56-acre campus which houses the non-profit Osborn community.
