Rye Town Park Being Considered for Outside Operator

Maintaining accessibility to the Sound Shore is a concern.

RYE, NY - The Town of Rye has asked for proposals for companies to run Rye Town Park, hoping to make it profitable.

The Town Park Commission wants to find an outside operator for the 62-acre park, with the additional thought of keeping it open year-round, according to lohud.com.

Five responses were received, which will likely be discussed at an upcoming meeting of the commission.
