Rye Town Park Wants Bids For Restaurant Operators
Legislation is on the governor's desk that would allow longer-term leases without state approval.
RYE, NY — Operators are wanted by the Rye Town Park Commission to run three food locations in the park, hopefully for the at least the next decade. A request for proposals was issued July 5 seeking bids to manage the locations that overlook Oakland Beach.
Legislation is on Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s desk that would allow the commission to offer a contract beyond the now-mandated three years, the Journal News said. (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)
