Rye's Wainwright House Profiled in The New York Times

The main house, carriage house and beautiful grounds were donated by the late Fonrose Wainwright Condict in 1951.

Reporter Tammy La Gorge profiles Rye’s Wainwright House, and its Soul Vision workshop, in a recent edition of The New York Times, calling the facility a “haven for the spirit on Long Island Sound.”

The piece delves into the workshop, taught by Linda Richichi, and some of the history of the house, and its mission to enrich the spirit. The main house, carriage house and beautiful grounds were donated by the late Fonrose Wainwright Condict in 1951.

“You come take a class like Linda’s in this beautiful setting, and you open your mind,” Peggy Hill, Wainwright House’s executive director, told the Times. ”That was what Fonrose wanted, and that’s what we’re trying to get back to.”
