Clean Snow Off Your Car or You Might Get Fined
There are four bills before the Legislature on the issue.

Most of us consider having to clean off our cars after it snows to be a necessary evil.
However, if New York legislators get their way, drivers could be fined if they don’t remove the snow from their vehicles before hitting the road, according to an article on syracuse.com.
One bill pending in Albany would see drivers fined at least $150 if they have 3 inches or more snow or ice on the car’s roof or trunk.

And if you get into an accident—and there’s snow on your car—you could see a $1,200 fine tops, syracuse.com said.
Bear in mind, similar bills in over the years have not succeeded in being passed.
