Scared on the Sound Haunted House Open Through Halloween
Tickets are available online or at the box office.
RYE, NY — The 17th annual Scared by the Sound Haunted House is open for business at Rye Playland.
The 12,000-square-foot haunted house and cemetery are located next to the rides that are closed for the season, according to the Scared by the Sound website.
Though the average experience is 17 to 18 minutes, it could take longer depending on the night and how close to Halloween it is.

The haunted house is open Friday through Sunday until Halloween.
