Solarize Rye Brook Extended to March 31
Community-based group pricing opportunity about to end
Due to the strong interest in Solarize Rye Brook, the program has been extended for 3 weeks. The new deadline for homeowners to sign a contract is now Thursday, March 31. This extension allows Sunrise Solar Solutions, the residential installer selected through a competitive process, to respond to this exciting demand for solar in Rye Brook.
The community-based program has reached its second lowest pricing tier and with a few more participants will get to Tier 3, the lowest pricing available. And NY State’s subsidized loan program, OnBill Recovery Financing, remains at its low interest rate of 3.49% for the rest of the campaign so homeowners can go solar with no money down and start saving right from the start. The rate increases that NY State had previously announced have been postponed. The incentives are dropping, and the low program pricing will not be available after the 31st.
The Village of Rye Brook was competitively selected to participate in this program, which is supported by New York State. So far, almost 200 Rye Brook residents have requested information and site visits, and 14 homeowners have already signed contracts for solar systems, with more in process. Homeowners interested in this opportunity to enjoy long-term savings on their electric bill with a high-quality solar electric system can call (914) 762-7622 or go to www.SolarizeWestchester.com/RyeBrook, where they’ll find additional information including a page of FAQs for homeowners.
