Town Of Rye Organizes Community Service Event For Middle, High School Students
The volunteer effort will take place over two days and help spruce up a park.
RYE, NY — The Town of Rye is inviting middle and high school students from Rye Neck, Rye Brook and Port Chester to take part in a Community Service Event, which is hoped to be the first of many. According to organizers, the project is to paint the Crawford Park picnic tables.

All the prep work — sanding — will be done 2:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6.

The painting will be done from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7.
This project is open to all middle and high schools in the town. Community Service hours will be acknowledged with an official letter.
