'Minor' Train Derailment Near Rye On Metro-North New Haven Line: UPDATE

One tweet by an ABC News Radio correspondent said there were no injuries. BREAKING

RYE, NY —The Metropolitan Transportation Authority said in a tweet that there was a slow-speed, minor derailment on the Metro-North New Haven Line in the vicinity of Rye. The authority confirmed there were no injuries. Metro-North tweeted there are delays of up to 25 minutes on the New Haven Line due to the derailment.

A tweet by @AaronKatersky of ABC News Radio said there were no injuries and no cars on their sides.

Metro-North said customers at Rye, Port Chester and Greenwich who wish to travel westbound to Grand Central Terminal are advised to travel eastbound to Stamford. Listen for announcements at your station.
