
A truck burst into flames in Rye early Thursday morning on I-95.
FIOS1News.com said the pickup truck was in a northbound lane when the engine caught fire around 3 a.m.
The vehicle was totaled.

Rye and Port Chester fire departments, along with EMS crews, were on the scene and asked the driver if he wanted to be checked for burns, but he refused.
This is the second vehicle fire in a week in Rye. A van burst into flames in Feb. 4. The driver left the scene and the passenger was uncooperative.
