Update: Man Killed by Metro-North Train in Westport
The incident happened on the railroad's New Haven Line just east of the Westport station. There are train delays due to the investigation.

Update 2 p.m.: The New Haven lines continues to have residual delays of 20-30 minutes due to the incident, according to Metro North.
Original story: A man on the train tracks east of the Westport train station was struck and killed by a New Haven bound train Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred around 11:20 a.m., according to the Connecticut Post. The train was due to arrive in New Haven at 12:10 p.m.
