Bald Hills Schoolhouse Fundraiser

The Bald Hills Schoolhouse, built in 1850, sits on its original foundation. After closing its doors to the children of the Farmingville community in 1929, the schoolhouse has longed for new life. Our goal is to open the doors once again to the public and children of local schools. In order for this to be accomplished, repairs are needed to update both the Bald Hills Schoolhouse and the Elijah Terry House, a replica of the home built for the first schoolmaster in Farmingville.

The Farmingville Historical Society hopes to raise $7,500 through monetary donations and by hosting a Chinese Auction.  Take a step back in time as the schoolhouse will be open for guided tours.  We hope you join us for this rare opportunity.
