Brookhaven To Host Menorah Lighting On Tuesday At Town Hall In Farmingville

The sacred Jewish symbol will join the lighted Christmas tree in celebration of the winter holiday season.

FARMINGVILLE, NY — Brookhaven officials will host a menorah lighting outside of Town Hall in Farmingville on Tuesday night.

The event will run from 6 to 7 p.m. featuring entertainment, hot latkes, and doughnuts.

The Jewish celebration of Hannukah begins on Sunday and ends Monday, Dec. 26. Christians celebrate Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, Christmas Day on Dec. 25, and Dec. 26 on St. Stephen's Day.
