Davis Park Beach To Reopen To Swimming On Tuesday
All other Brookhaven Town beaches will reopen but swimming will be off-limits until Wednesday due to high bacteria levels.
FARMINGVILLE, NY — Davis Park Beach, one of the many Brookhaven Town beaches closed Monday after Tropical Storm Henri, is set to reopen to swimmers on Tuesday, Supervisor Ed Romaine said.
The beaches, which were closed as a precaution due to the storm, do not have any lifeguards on duty, Romaine said.
All other Town beaches will be opened on Tuesday but no bathing will be allowed because of high bacteria levels due to the storm, according to Romaine. All beaches will resume normal operation on Wednesday, Romaine said.
