Off-Duty NYPD Officer Found Dead In Suffolk Home: Report
The death of the 44-year-old, 16-year veteran has been deemed "accidental," The New York Post reported.
SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — An off-duty New York Police Department officer was found dead by his wife inside their home in Suffolk County, The New York Post reported.
Police sources told The Post that the officer was a 44-year-old, 16-year veteran of the job who was assigned to the Upper West Side in Manhattan.
Investigators have preliminarily concluded that his death is being considered “accidental,” and neither suicide nor homicide is suspected, the sources told the outlet.
