From the Lens ... Sachem in Pictures

U.S. Youth Soccer runs the TOPSoccer program nationally (The Outreach Program for Soccer), providing opportunities for kids and adults with disabilities to enjoy the game. 

While the soccer World Cup is being played in South Africa, these weekend warriors compete at a more grass-roots level. I made some new friends while watching the last game of the spring season. 

The group is led by coordinator Al Esposito and head coach Brian Pontecorvo and begin their next season in September. They are affiliated with Special Olympics.
