Frontier Airlines Takes Off At MacArthur Airport
Frontier Airlines launched its once a day flight to Orlando Wednesday morning. The airline will soon add 10 more destinations from ISP.

RONKONKOMA, NY – Frontier Airlines has officially taken off from Long Island MacArthur Airport. Flight 1779 destined for Orlando departed the Ronkonkoma airport at 10:56 a.m. Wednesday.
Frontier's first arrival to the airport came about an hour earlier when Flight 1778 from Orlando touched down to a water cannon salute from MacArthur Airport Fire-Rescue.

Frontier, a low-cost carrier based in Denver, has big plans for MacArthur, which desperately needs new airlines and destinations. Frontier plans to add 10 other destinations from the Town of Islip-owned airport over the next year. See the planned destinations here.
